The Company

Timecasters LLC

Timecasters LLC is a small US software company. Our first product series, AstroPrompt, combines a professional-grade astronomical calculation engine with AI interpretation to deliver astrological insight to anyone with a web browser.

The calculation engine is built on the Swiss Ephemeris, the same high-precision astronomical data library used by professional astrologers worldwide. Chart data is formatted specifically to give AI language models the precise context needed for accurate interpretation, and all birth records are stored locally in the browser — never transmitted to our servers.

Founder

Daniel Kehoe

See his LinkedIn profile. Daniel Kehoe is a software developer, author, and technology leader with more than three decades of experience in tech. He has been a tech exec at companies innovating with generative AI, as CTO, Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager for startups worldwide.

He began his career during the early years of personal computing, writing for PC World and NeXTWORLD magazines in 1991 and working at Steve Jobs' company NeXT in the early days of the Worldwide Web. Kehoe is the author of Learn Ruby on Rails, a widely-read introductory text used by code camps worldwide. His technical writing, including tutorials at mac.install.guide, helped a generation of beginners get into software development.

Kehoe is a digital nomad, developing AstroPrompt while based in Da Nang, Vietnam.
